Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are all set to part ways with fast bowler Harshal Patel ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction.
Harshal Patel, bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping Rs 10.75 crore in the 2022 mega-auction, has struggled to justify his high price tag and has often found himself in the target of opposition batsmen in the recent few seasons.
In the 2023 edition of the IPL, Harshal Patel took 14 Wickets in 13 Matches at an economy rate of 9.66.
As part of the ongoing trade window, all 10 Franchises can engage in team trades, which involve either monetary transactions or exchange of players. The last date to finalize the retention of players is November 26.
The Player Auction for the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is scheduled to take place in Dubai on December 19. This will be the first time that the IPL auction will be held outside India.
