Ireland Batsman Hits Fastest Fifty in European Cricket League

Fastest Fifty Record : In the first
T20 World Cup held in 2007, India's Yuvraj Singh made a world record by scoring a Half-Century in 12 balls with 6 sixes in an over against England. That record stood for about 16 years from 2007 to 2023, but on September 27, 2023, a Batsman from Nepal broke the years-old record of Yuvraj Singh. Nepal's wicketkeeper Batsman Deependra Singh Airi Scored 52 runs by hitting 8 Sixes in 9 balls.

Now Irish Batsman Broke Yuvraj's Record

In front of this innings of Nepali Batsman, Yuvraj's innings also started looking pale. Deependra had created a sensation by doing this feat against Mongolia in an International match of the Asian Games. Now after this brilliant inning of Deependra, another stormy inning has been seen, which has been played by an Irish batsman. Although, this is not an innings played in international cricket, but still it is such an innings which will captivate your mind. Irish batsman Seamus Lynch has grabbed all the headlines on social media by playing an unbeaten inning of 51 runs in 10 balls against Hungary.

Actually, T10 cricket is being played in European Cricket, in which the match was played between Hungary and Ireland XI. In this match, Hungary Batted first and scored 94 runs in ten overs. The Irish team needed 95 runs to win in the stipulated 10 overs, but Seymour Lynch's stormy innings took their team past the target in just 4.3 overs. Seamer Lynch played an unbeaten inning of 51 runs in 10 balls at a strike rate of more than 500, due to which the Ireland XI team did not make any difference even after the fall of Three Wickets and proved Hungary's target very small. This means that in the last 16 years, no player in world cricket could break Yuvraj Singh's Record of Fastest Half-Century, but in the last 10-12 days, two players broke Yuvraj's record.
