Mumbai Indians have suffered another significant blow as Jhye Richardson is unlikely to recover from the injury sustained during BBL 2023, ruling him out for the entire IPL 2023 Season.

The Australian pacer has also been ruled out of the upcoming Three-Match ODI series against India. He was one of 16 players selected by Cricket Australia for the Three ODIs against India.
Richardson has struggled with Soft-Tissue Injuries for the past two seasons, in addition to a shoulder injury in 2019.
Later, he put up a sensational performance against England in December 2021 at Adelaide, but was sidelined for the Next Test due to a heel injury and has not featured in Test cricket since then.
