The much awaited Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 is all set to begin on March 4, with Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians playing the opening match at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

The tournament will see intense competition between Five Teams - Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, UP Warriors, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore - all fighting for the coveted title.

With the auction in February, all the five teams were able to acquire talented players, which strengthened their squads. Delhi Capitals have also made some exciting signings.
