IPL 2023 : This Star All-Rounder of RCB is Out of The Tournament

Ahead of the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore have suffered a major blow as England Batsman Will Jacks has been ruled out of the entire Tournament.

The franchise secured Jack's services for a substantial sum of Rs 3.2 crore. However, a debilitating injury during the second ODI Against Bangladesh has left the team scrambling to find a possible replacement for him.

Jacks, Cricketing journey began with a T20I debut against Pakistan last September, which was followed by his Test Debut Against the same opponents in December. Recently he also made his ODI Debut Against Bangladesh.

The 24-year-old has scored 2802 runs in 109 T20Is at a strike rate of 157.94, including one century and 23 Half-Centuries. However, a recent injury setback could dent his chances of getting selected for the men's ODI World Cup to be held in India later this year.

RCB have reportedly turned their attention to Michael Bracewell as a confirmed replacement in Rs 1 Crore. The Kiwi All-Rounder threw his hat in the ring for the IPL Mini-Auction but remained unsold despite a base price of Rs 1 crore.

RCB are all set to start their IPL 2023 campaign with a mouth-watering encounter against Mumbai Indians at their fort in Bengaluru on 2nd April. Faf du Plessis, who succeeded him as Captain last year, will continue to lead team this season.
